I’m an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Aarhus University, where I lead the CLAN for AI Research on Language and Networks (CLAN). Beyond that, I’m a fellow of the Copenhagen Center for Social Data Science (SODAS), an affiliate of the Pioneer Centre for AI (P1), and a formal collaborator of the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that manages Wikipedia and related projects.
The overarching goal of my current research is to devise the next generation of information systems that understand our knowledge-seeking needs and assist us in seeking knowledge. To do so, I develop models and algorithms in areas including

- artificial intelligence
- graph machine learning
- computational social science
- data and network science
